Clark Construction - Passionate about the jobs we do.
Owner, McKee Clark, grew up submerged in a construction-filled life. McKee's grandfather, Stanley L. Clark, owned and operated "Clark Construction" over 50 years ago in Laurens, Iowa. Since a mere toddler, McKee took an interest in construction and working in his grandfather's footsteps.
After the passing of his grandfather, it wasn't long after that McKee found his way back to working in and around construction. Many summer jobs with his father (who also used to work in the construction industry) and various local contractors reminded him of his passion for construction
"A lot of people work in the construction industry knowing it's only a means to an end - just a job that will get them to where they really want to go.
For me, it's different. I can't think of any place where I'd rather be than following in my grandfather's footsteps and fulfilling my dreams of owning my own construction company in Northwest Iowa."
After many years of working in a local factory and completing various construction projects on the side, it was then McKee made the leap of faith to follow his dreams and revive the company "Clark Construction" in the same town as his grandfather once did.
